Responsibilities:

  • Initiate a Customer Service Attitude with all functional groups resulting in a proactive decision-making process to enhance the growth nature.
  • Facilitate the evolution towards Account Management Excellence, utilizing category information, consumer insights, census data and point of sale information (Best Practices Development) while ensuring the effective utilization of trade funds to deliver on the Brand Strategies and Sales fundamentals.
  • Manage display and special pack process from creation to execution with the customer
  • Manage audit process; review/validate/dispute post audits for the CVS team

  • New Item set-up
  • Support Customer Development Manager in growing the OC CVS business

  • Understand Shopper Trends by working with Shopper Insights/Articles to help with ideation for growth (CVS Personalization)
  • Deliver Strategic 5P Insight-based recommendations for CVS and Colgate on Colgate Products
  • Develop Selling stories that bring to life key brand strategies and engage the CVS Shopper.
  • Support Customer Planning by providing input into next year s planning with highlights of new growth opportunities.
  • Plan Go-To-Market Strategies for New Items based on marketing objectives that will exceed retail implementation criteria and spearhead the New Item planning process to address the lead-time demands throughout the industry.
  • Apply Category Management learning and techniques to day-to-day business, exploitation of new opportunities, and using Category Management as the context for all selling stories .
  • Ensure team maintains accurate projections versus plan of sales and spending associated with activities and manage total P&L performance in order to achieve targets
  • Support key initiatives with CP and the customer with direction from Account manager and CP Senior Team Leader
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting

  • Ensure Pre and post-evaluation ROI s (through Direct Reports) of ALL promotions (results vs. objective, implementation accuracy, etc), supporting with qualitative commentary, communicating results to the commercial team, and using the results of promotion evaluations to refine customer tactics.
  • Oral Care Ad Calendar weekly updates
  • Ad tracking and analysis to determine best account vehicles
  • Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • 3-8 years of experience in Customer Development Management roles or similar background required
  • Experience working in consumer product goods or similar industry
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-25% of your time
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience in POS/Shopper reporting tools i.e. Nielsen, IRI, ExtraCare, Unify, CMG
  • Preferred requirements:

  • Spanish Speaking is a plus
  • Project management experience and using the results of promotion evaluations to refine customer tactics.
  • Support key initiatives with CP and the customer with direction from Account manager and Senior Team Leader
